I have been working with Ashley for almost a year now. She has done a really good job of regularly consulting with me to determine my specific needs and working those needs into my workouts. She does a varied workout so I don’t get bored with it and makes sure to work in stretching, strengthening and cardio. I really like how she works with my schedule and understand that I’m a Mom first, but still keeps me accountable to sticking with the plan. I love the flexibility
I started working out with Ashley because I had gained some pesky inches. I worked with her for two months and I fit in my old skirts again. Having a trainer has helped me keep on track
I began meeting with Ashley last year after completing my first half marathon. I yearned to continue running but needed help defining new goals and steps to get there. Ashley assisted me immensely in my decision-making process by assuring me that my sights were not set too high. I would be capable of achieving my goals, and she would give me the steps to arrive at them…
Aside from my new running goals, she has also helped in guiding me to attain other smaller hurdles. I sought to also feel stronger, and I desired to be able to do pushups well. With Ashley’s training, I quickly achieved them and am currently on a mission toward a chin up! Having a trainer has helped me keep on track because I am accountable to complete the workouts. It acts as extra motivation on days when I just want to sit on the couch…which can feel like nearly every day sometimes! But I always feel better when I finish the workout especially knowing the results I have already felt and seen.

I really like the Online Coaching
I asked Lean on Me Fitness to help me out last fall. I was exercising but I was not losing weight. I was getting a little discouraged. Ashley came to my house weighed and measured me. She assigned me some exercises and made sure I was doing them correctly. She also showed me what exercise/equipment would help with tight muscles in my back. Because of scheduling we met every two weeks and then it went to once a month. I was discouraged because I still was not losing weight, but then Ashley reweighed me and measured. I did gain weight but my BMI went down. I was building muscle. I also started using the LOMF Online Coaching through Ashley…
She puts the workouts on there. I can then do them on my time. I also do other exercises and Ashley puts them on the Online Coaching. I can go in there and say I did kickboxing one night. It tracks how many times a week you are exercising and gives a report to Ashley. I really like the Online Coaching. I just found out that I have a problem with my thyroid and that is why I am not losing weight. Ashley gave me some helpful suggestions for the thyroid issue. I do feel better and am stronger.

I could not have asked for a better match for my needs
After being frustrated with my weight and feeling a frozen shoulder creeping back up I decided to do something I always wanted; hire a personal trainer. I was referred to Ashley Plowman and met for a free consultation. It was very apparent after that initial meeting that Ashley was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, conscientious, and a good “fit” for my needs; I just didn’t realize at the time how life changing working with her would be.
